Young mothers face some of the steepest barriers to continuing their education and building independent futures. The Rescue walks alongside them toward self-reliance.
What this program does
The Rescue supports teenage mothers through counselling, skills training, education reintegration, business support and ongoing mentorship — helping them rebuild a path toward self-reliance on their own terms.

Why this program exists
Teenage motherhood often ends a girl's education and narrows her options overnight. The Rescue was created to change that outcome — walking with young mothers through the practical and emotional work of returning to school or building an independent livelihood.
What we're working to achieve
Support emotional recovery
Provide counselling to help young mothers process their circumstances and plan forward.
Reopen the path to education
Help mothers re-enrol in school or vocational training where possible.
Build income-generating skills
Offer skills training and small business support for those not returning to formal school.
Provide ongoing mentorship
Maintain regular check-ins as each young mother works toward stability.
How the program runs day to day
One-on-one counselling
Confidential sessions to support emotional wellbeing and decision-making.
Education reintegration support
Helping young mothers navigate re-enrolment into school or vocational programs.
Skills and livelihood training
Practical training in income-generating skills for those building independent livelihoods.
